Are you concerned about the confounding effects in observation studies or using Real World Evidence? We shared our research work in this free downloadable slide deck.

There is a growing interest in Real World Evidence (RWE) and observational studies to estimate the effects of treatments on outcomes. The propensity score (PS) allows one to design and analyze an observational (nonrandomized) study so that it mimics some of the particular characteristics of a randomized controlled trial.

In this webinar, Dr. Nie discusses the performance of 4 commonly used PS methods (matching, stratification, IPTW, covariate adjustment) in observational studies that have odds ratio or Hazard Ratio (HR) as treatment effect of interest. Simulation studies that were motivated by real clinical studies were conducted.
