Founder and President
Peng Yang is passionate about developing innovative medicine through outstanding biometrics services. Peng has worked in clinical trials for over 14 years, with broad experience in all phases of clinical development and medical affairs within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. She provides the gold standard of consulting services in CDISC implementation, new drug application (NDA), statistical programming, biostatistics and CRO oversight.
In addition to consulting work, she also applies her technical background to develop a unique system that allows networking and evaluation of biometrics talent, allowing her to support client's staffing needs.
Before founding Clindata Insight, she worked for pharmaceutical companies in various management roles. She was the Head of Statistical Programming and Data Management at Santen Inc, where she built the statistical programming functionality from the ground up. She was also the Manager of Statistical Programming and Global Product Lead Programmer at Amgen, where she led a global programming team to support the GCSF franchise.
Peng holds a Master's of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Master's of Science in Genetics and Developmental Biology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Biotechnology from Peking University.
Peng is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA), American Statistical Association (ASA), and the Pharmaceutical User Software Exchange (PhUSE).
Peng lives in the town of Moraga, California, with her husband and two children. In her spare time she enjoys reading and supporting her kids in their various extracurricular activities.
